All the performance, minus the consumption: Introducing the Audi e-tron GT concept

In the Audi e-tron GT concept, the performance of a sports car comes together with the fully electric drive of the future.

You’ll feel the power when you’re behind the wheel: Every Audi e-tron GT concept is equipped with a powerful electric drive with quattro, featuring two permanently regulated synchronous motors — one on each axle — that deliver torque to all four wheels as required.

Design language of the future

The e-tron GT concept boasts a coupé-like roof line, borrowing from the iconic Sportback design, but now paired with a strongly pulled in cabin. Looking to the front section, you can’t help but notice the Singleframe and its distinctly horizontal, multipiece architecture, and discrete 3D grille design.

Every single exterior component has been crafted to optimize aerodynamics. The e-tron GT concept was shaped in the wind tunnel and cuts through the air. Five twin spokes on the wheels allows for optimum ventilation of the brake discs, while reducing air resistance. The multi-material lightweight design of the chassis incorporates aluminium and steel as well as a carbon fiber roof, playing a decisive role in saving weight and increasing range.

Shining bright

Even when it’s not in motion, LED headlights with Audi laser light and tapered elements reinforce the dynamic presence of the Audi e-tron GT concept.

Along the entire width of the rear is a continuous light strip — featuring tapered elements at each end, echoing the design of the front headlights — below which appears an illuminated e-tron logo.
